Figure 5) SIR4 knock out cells grew significantly faster than wild type cells. Over expression of SIR4 cells were significantly inhibited in their growth as compared to wild type cells.

Mutant, bfms::km, had less biofilm formation than the wildtype, 17978, as seen in figure 2A. Thus supporting that bfms is important for virulence.

G0/G1 phase was decreased from 54% to 42%. This was measured with flow cytometry for DNA content.)PMID:23570311IMP: Inferred from Mutant Phenotype

(Figure 4a) ydiI mutants produced 67% less menaquinone-8 than the parent strain.

(Figure 1C)The lab group performed a series of reporter assays and found that PLIC-1 is a potent inhibitor of the TLR3-Trif pathway. Over expression of mouse PLIC-1 inhibited Trif-dependent activation of the NFk-B dependent Reporter.

In figure 2C, methyl transferase activity was observed as florescence of Mg protoporphyrin IX methyl ester was observed in the wildtype CHLM but not in the mutant chlm. The presence of chlorophyll was also observed in the wildtype CHLM,represented by CHLM fluorescences at 630nm, but not in the mutant chlm, figure 2B.

When compared with wildtype GPR55 mice, GPR55 knock out mice showed a greater chance of falling, figure 4B, and more walking errors, figure 4C.

In figure 5, mutant N34 with a deletion in SirA and missing SCO6102 failed to grow in nitrite supplemented media, as seen in B, but grew in supplemented sulfur media, as seen in D.

Figure 1(I-J') shows that HIPK1 -/- mice showed a reduced size and density of adherens junctions as compared to the control group.

rpfC and rpfG make up a two component system that is responsible for the perception and transduction a signal molecule . Figure 1 shows that rpfG is involved in the enhancement of Xanthomona citri virulence. Mutations rpfG showed a reduction in the virulence of X. citri as measured by canker lesions on the Duncan Grapefruit leaf.

In figure 2(a-b) CHLM (wt) showed higher absorbances at approximately 450nm and 650nm with a higher florescence at 630 nm, demonstrating chlorophyll was present in the wildtype and not in the mutant. In c, magnesium protoporphyrin IX methyltransferase is needed to add a methyl onto magnesium protoporphyrin IX (reactant) since a build up of this reactant was seen in the mutant.
