Figure 4 shows an assay of the Pac enzyme with pur6 products. Pac is shown to be highly specific interactign with only puromycin carbon backbones. Based on the interaction of pur6 and the Pac enzyme, and the specificity of the enzyme that pur6 is involved in the puromycin synthesis.
