Figure 2 shows that the expression of ybjN is related to increased motility and biofilm formation as stated in the abstract. This can be inferred by part A of figure 2 since as the time of incubation increases, the OD becomes higher. This means there is now a higher density of cells in the media most likely due to the increased biofilm formation.
