Challenge | Konalash, Team Celestial Seasonings | 2012-04-19 16:34:14 CDT | Table 4 shows the ability of strains with variable TcpA to colonize mice. You cannot conclude definitively from table 4 that the TcpA structure is required for colonization unless you compare two strains that are identical except one is a tcpA knock-out, or has a non-functional tcpA gene. Your description would be more convincing if you mention that Tcp2 does not contain a functional tcpA gene, and for Tcp2 output cfu is significantly less than input cfu (and this is not the case for strains containing an intact tcpA gene). Also, I think GO:0052001 would be more appropriate here : Type IV pili-dependent localized adherence to host | 3 |
Challenge | Hilaryann0524, Team Unicorn | 2012-04-17 19:21:21 CDT | Table 4 does not accurately describe what is going on in the paper. It does not mention the TCP structure or anything related to the TCP structure. This annotation has noting to do with the notes nor the figure. If the same GO term is to be kept, then this annotation needs to be changed to Table 3. | 2 |
