The notes are not true to the conclusions of the paper. The paper infers from data listed in Figure 1. that because gene 63 mutations eliminate both TFA and RNA ligase activity, both may reside in protein gp63.

It is Table 2 that shows evidence that RNA ligase promotes rapid tail fiber attachment.

In terms of GO term for virus tail fiber assembly, the annotation should be made for gene 63 encoding for TFA (tail fiber assembly) to be more specific to the paper's conclusions. In addition Table 1 would be better evidence for IMP, as it shows a lack of TFA activity in gene 63 mutants.
