Better GO term would be GO:1901336 lactone biosynthetic process, instead of positive regulation of homoserine biosynthetic synthesis from my previous challenge

GO ID: 1901712, positive regulation of homoserine biosynthetic process, is the best fitting GO term as there is not GO term for regulation of AHL-biosynthesis.

Notes should be Fig 1A, showing the ODHL synthesis from DM25(lacking VanR) and its complement plasmid born copy(expressing VanR). A white halo is indicative of OHDL synthesis. The mutant DM25 has a smaller white halo than its plasmid complement, therefore indicating that VanR upregulates ODHL synthesis.

GO term should be GO:0045893: positive regulation of transcription, DNA-dependent

Did not add go term to preivious challange GO:0010467 Gene expression

s/b GO: gene expression. Fig1A shows that vanI and vanR are the genes resposible for ODHL synthesis.

None, yet.

GO term should be 'quorum sensing' (0009372). This figure does not involve interaction with a host.

Exactly right about there being no host, but look carefully at what the figure is actually showing.
