Looking at the description preceding figure 5, the authors state "A Golgi-ER localization signal was also observed for three proteins, ACC oxidase 2 (AT1G62380.1; Fig. 5C)..." They are saying the protein is localized in the Golgi and ER. The definition for the current GO Term is "the directed movement of a protein to a specific location in the Golgi apparatus." I don't think the authors are saying that this ACC oxidase is involved in moving another protein to the golgi but instead are saying it is in the golgi itself. This is why I think the GO term GO:0005794: golgi apparatus is more appropriate. | 2 |
