I think that the GO term should be HU-DNA Complex (GO:1990178) because figure 4 shows that HU-GFP maintained a stable association with nucleoid structure, indicating that HU plays a role in chromosome maintenance. This is exactly what this GO term describes (HU binds to double-stranded DNA in a structure- and sequence-specific manner and bends the DNA into a nucleosome-like structure) I also do not think this entry needs a Qualifier, since the presentation we watched at the beginning of the competition said that we would rarely need one.

The correct GO Term would be GO:0034502, protein localization to the chromosome, as prokaryotes do not have a nuclear periphery. No qualifier is needed, as the HupA protein directly localizes to the chromosomal area.

Great find by Kohli3 on the new GO term -- it is a child of bacterial nucleoid, so it is even better than the others suggested. Credit for the annotation goes to Kohli3 for suggesting the final fix to the annotation to make it potentially acceptable.
