The evidence shows that a mutation of aats-met results in a change in phenotype of the mitochondria. The mitochondria being aberrant is a global effect of the lack of methionine-tRNA ligase. There is not enough evidence in the paper that can directly link Aats-met to mitochondrial phenotype. | None, yet. |
