The evidence provided in the paper is not strong enough to say that Aats-met is involved in cell proliferation. Although the paper shows that cell proliferation is affected ("impaired") by an aats-met mutation, there is no evidence that indicates the mechanism by which Aats-met is involved in cell proliferation. Aats-met is a methionie-tRNA ligase that appears to be essential for proper cell growth and division, but there is not sufficient evidence about the function of Aats-met to make this annotation. | 4 |
