However, figure 5 does not show that MNS-1 is responsible for a motile cilium. The figure states that there are deficiencies in the dynein arms of MNS-1 deficient tracheal cilia, but does not address any other impact that MNS-1 deficiency has on the tracheal cilia. This was proved by ultrastructural analysis (use of electron microscopy) to show the dynein arm defects, thus I think that the evidence code IMP is wrong and should be replaced with IDA. | 5 |
