You used IDA as your evidence code but figure 3 only shows a TEM image. The article stated "Since TEM cannot be used for accurate quantification of intact viral fraction, we used the EMA-RT-qPCR method." I would change your description to focus more on figure 4 since that is where the assay, EMA-RT-qPCR, is shown and described.

GO:0019028 viral capsid PMID:29566061 IDA: Inferred from Direct Assay C The Mass Spectroscopy results in Figure 6 and the accompanying table 3 show evidence of 9CALI:Q2NNN5 as a viral capsid protein. When the FCV was exposed to CAP the mass spec analysis resulted in several unique peaks for the capsid protien (Met+16). This was identified to be an oxygenation of several of the methionine groups. When this is taken with the evidence of CAP disintegrating capsid proteins shown by RT-PCR in figure 4 it indicates that 9CALI:Q2NNN5 protein is the capsid protein. complete

All Figure 3 shows is that some capsids are affected and some aren't. It does not show that 9CALI:Q2NNN5 makes up the capsid. And Figure 4 shows that when the capsid is broken, then a dye can penetrate and block RT-PCR. The evidence, if any, for a component annotation should be in the mass-spec results. Notes should be updated accordingly.
