This protein has a previous annotation for DNA template transcription initiation shown through IDA. There were many Blastp matches with 100% or near 100% query coverage and low e-values to purported putative sigma factors on recently annotated phages.

None of the two reported HHpred hits contains valid annotations to transfer for that GO term. Both contain GO:0016987 annotations but they are IEA and cannot be transferred. Some experimental annotations are available for one HHpred hit; those could be transferred. The preferred evidence code for HHpred is ISS (see http://gowiki.tamu.edu/wiki/index.php/GO_REF:HHpred). Notes should detail why you believe that the function of a bacterial protein should be preserved in a phage.
