Challenge | Eleo1, Team Red B | 2016-04-18 14:46:40 CDT | Oh and validation of the GO terms I suggested earlier can be found in Figure 3 and in the text below it. | None, yet.
Challenge | Eleo1, Team Red B | 2016-04-18 14:44:56 CDT | In agreement with the challenge by connor.long a different GO term should be used. As a matter of fact, CACAO students are not allowed to use 'binding' terms. You could use terms like these: GO:0006323 DNA packaging GO:0016887 ATPase activity As for the PubMed ID: you can find that on the ncbi website following the link you already provided. (PMID: 19109896) | None, yet.
Challenge | Spanch1, Team Red B | 2016-04-18 09:03:02 CDT | use the pubmed ID! | None, yet.
Challenge | Connor.Long, Team Tiger1 | 2016-04-12 14:19:56 CDT | Multiple GO terms are possible for this paper as the "energy for compacting DNA" (N-terminal ATPase domain), "terminat[ion] [of] packaging" (C-terminal nuclease domain), and "translocat[ion] [of] the genome into the procapsid" (C-terminal domain) are all discussed in the abstract specifically and the discussion portion of the paper (quotes were taking from abstract). However, GPI anchor binding, in my opinion, would not be an appropriate term for this specific paper as the main focus centers around the the stimulation and termination of viral DNA packaging as well as the movement of the genome into the procapsid. More appropriate GO terms would be: - Viral DNA genome packaging - DNA packaging complex - Viral genome packaging Furthermore PMID is 19109896 - challenging reference as well because there is a usable PMID code | None, yet.
Challenge | E63, Team Blue A | 2016-04-11 18:24:30 CDT | How can you assume that the structure created from the model functions as a GPI anchor for binding? Just something minor - the PMID is: 19109896 | None, yet.
