So if your GO term is the same, your evidence code must be different, and vice versa. You ran into some issues there. This annotation, however, is almost there. Your notes have issues because they need to talk about just what you annotation is about. You are annotating to sarA, not any of the other stuff in this figure. It can be in your own words. Just talk about the difference between WT and sarA biofilm formation in Figure 8. Your GO term has a problem. If you click on the GO ID you will see in the usage notes that "Experiments that support annotation to this term usually support annotation to a more specific child term." So which child term should you use? Head over to QuickGo and check out the child terms. Is this S aureus grown in single species or multi species culture? Click the appropriate GO term. Is this the right term or can you get a further child term from here? Some of the child terms are regulation and you know you can't annotate to that. Are these biofilms surface or submerged? Check the materials and methods. Are the biofilms forming on solid or liquid culture?
