As shown in Fig. 2B, LIF increased the adhesion of the human trophectoderm-derived JAr cells to endometrial Ishikawa cells. On the contrary, hLA diminished the adhesion of JAr cells to LIF-stimulated Ishikawa cells. These results suggest that the enhancement of integrin αV, β3, and β5 by LIF might be associated with the adhesion of trophblast to endometrium for embryo implantation. Figure 2A shows adhesion is dependent on integrins. (hLa inhibits LIF, hence IMP) Figure 3 uses antibodies to neutralize the integrins. |
