The bovine adrenal medullary chromaffin cells were immunolabeled for type 1, 2, and 3 IP3R (10 nm) with each isoform-specific affinity-purified IP3R antibodies. As seen in figure 2A, the gold particles are also localized in the rough endoplasmic reticulum (rer as seen in the picture).
