I am unsure about this annotation. The Go term GO:0004468 ! lysine N-acetyltransferase activity implies that the enzyme does this:
acetyl phosphate + L-lysine = phosphate + N6-acetyl-L-lysine.
But instead of acetyl phosphate it uses acetyl-Coa. Additionally it acts on a lysine residue in alpha-tubulin, not on an isolated L-lycine amino acid. AAAAAARGHh where's the GO term for this?!? --Davidmigl 14:13, 22 September 2010 (UTC)davidmigl
