These results indicate LuxT is density dependent. Figure 2a and 4 both use a LacZ reporter in a beta-galactosidase assay to show that LuxT is involved in a quorum sensing cascade and is a positive regulator of LuxO and a negative, probably post-transcriptional, regulator of LuxO and is regulated itself by LuxU. ||complete | Flagged |
