After checking the proton id and uniprot identifications, I believe this is correct. What is wrong with this protein?

With bacteria and viruses, etc., we have to use the correct strain of the organism as well as we can. Some strains aren't sequenced fully, and other strains are simply laboratory-specific derivatives of existing strains. They state specifically that SH1000 was used, and this annotation is on strain USA300. From looking at http://www.uniprot.org/taxonomy/93061, I think I would accept the proteins of "Staphylococcus aureus (strain NCTC 8325)" for any that the paper says come from SH1000.

So, fig 3 is on a mutant of the sigB protein, not rsbU which is annotated. The paper seems to be stating that the phenotype mutations seen in the rsbu mutant are a result of sigB mutation- read the last sentence of the Introduction section. Also, the GO term won't be accepted, it's much too broad. Look at the CHILDREN of http://www.ebi.ac.uk/QuickGO/GTerm?id=GO:0042710 (note that we require you to supply the most specific term in order to get points).

If you FIX all the issues, we can give you credit, even though this is marked "unacceptable".
