Public Assessment | TAIRtb | 2013-04-19 16:43:13 CDT | SbCAD2 does not have an experimental annotation to lignin biosynthetic process, cannot use this as 'with' evidence. AtCAD5 and ZmCAD2 both have IMP annotations to this term, are ok to leave in the with column. More broadly, for this paper, why is only BdCAD3 and not BdCAD5 annotated? From paper, "These data suggest that BdCAD5 is the main CAD enzyme for lignin biosynthesis and that BdCAD3 has a different role in Brachypodium." I'd almost drop the ISO annotation based on this statement and the kinetic data shown. I'd expect BdCAD5 to be annotated to 'lignin biosynthetic process' and CAD activity by IDA. | Requires Changes ✔ Protein ✔ Publication ✔ Qualifier ✔ Go term ✔ Evidence ✗ With/From ✗ Notes ✔ Unique/Original |
