The GO term is incorrect. The evidence cited in no way shows that the frequency of phospholipase activity increases. Phospholipase activity refers to the hydrolysis of phospholipids, and this was not measured by the experiment cited. The phosphorylation of gIVaPLA2 was measured. Downstream cytoplasmic gIVaPLA2 was rapidly activated (phosphorylated) following gVPLA2 exposure. Again, the more appropriate GO term is "positive regulation of protein phosphorylation" (GO:0001934).
