Challenge | MKoert, Team Red A 2018 | 2018-04-08 19:32:46 CDT | Agreed with the user above, there is nothing in this paper that directly indicates methyltransferase activity to me. Perhaps you could make an argument for GO:0001906: cell killing as it seems to be measuring cytotoxicity. In any case it would likely be beneficial to name the figures and be more specific in your argument section. | 1 |
Challenge | DFrank, Team Green A 2018 | 2018-04-02 10:12:32 CDT | I do not think the data in the article directly proves methyltransferase activity. It does prove that the metabolites can repress certain proteins/gene and activate others, but how it is done was not found. The graphs compared cell activity vs. concentration of metabolites and gene expression vs. metabolite presence. At no point do they find out what exactly from the metabolites causes these genes/proteins to be repressed/activated. | 1 |
Public Assessment | Ivanerill | 2018-04-15 13:31:55 CDT | A0A2A2CMC5_9VIBR is a Vibrio coralliilyticus protein. Nothing in the paper seems to support the role of any specific S. levis protein in any function/process. | Unacceptable ✗ Protein ✔ Publication ✔ Qualifier ✗ Go term ✔ Evidence ✔ With/From ✗ Notes ✔ Unique/Original |
