I agree with your Go number and the idea that this represents a molecular function. However, because the authors were using knockout mutant strains, that would mean that this is IMP, not IDA. Also, if you put specific figures in your notes after you state each finding that supports the go annotation, it will make it much easier for the readers to refer to what you are talking about. Finally, I wouldn't say "prove" as you do in the last sentence in the first paragraph, I would merely say "suggest" because this is just one paper about acid phosphatase activity.

The notes do not mention how the protein is involved in hydrolase activity on ester bonds. Furthermore, there is no mention of how this was determined.

The evidence code you used was IDA but the notes seems to suggest that the protein function was found through a mutation knockout. The paper also suggests using IMP rather than IDA.

Notes are not specific. Which figures/tables do you refer to? I am assuming Table 1? One wonders why not use the more obvious GO term here. There is no evidence specifically supporting the ester bond hydrolase activity
