Notes do not provide a figure in the paper to show direct assay. Also, use of annotator's own words would be better than quoting the paper directly. This would show that the annotator adequately understands the evidence he/she is submitting.

GO:0020002 host cell plasma membrane PMID:22855489 IDA: Inferred from Direct Assay C Figure 3: To examine the localization of the plasma-encoded gp20, researchers created a gp20 and GFP fusion protein. The gp20-GFP fusion protein and gp40, encoded by Plasmid pT20gfp-40, was transformed into E. coli BL21(DE3) cells. When analyzed using fluoromicroscopy, the researchers found that the fluorescence signal was found mostly at the cell periphery where clusters of fluorescence were observed with an apparently regular spacing between them. From this, they concluded that gp20 is membrane bound, either by itself or in an aggregated form. complete

Do not copy/paste sections of the paper, you need to explain why it shows what it shows in your own words. When you do. be specific. Talk about the GFP experiment in Fig 3, or the fractionation experiment in Fig 4, etc. This is the incorrect GO term, phages do not have cell membranes. You might want to chose Host cell membrane, perhaps.
