BraLTP1 fragment in PBI121s was introduced into Agrobacterium tumefaciens GV3101 by electroporation, and positive clones were selected on on LB agar plates at 37°C, supplemented with appropriate concentration of antibiotics (gentamicin 50 mg L−1, rifampicin 50 mg L−1 and kanamycin 50 mg L−1) and PCR verified. The BraLTP1 was genetically transformed, and the overexpression of a genetically transformed protein that alters a geno or phenotype is known as EC:IGI.

Process Figure 9 shows the effects of overexpression of BraLTP1 on the flower organ structure.

Notes have incorrect protein and organism. Organism: Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis (Chinese cabbage) (Brassica pekinensis)

Protein: Uncharacterized on Uniprot, known as Bra011229 in the paper. Entry name on Uniprot:M4D425_BRARP

Evidence code is IDA, No mutants are used to compare to wild type. Only overexpression of BraLTP1 resulted in early development of longer carpels and outward bending stamen in the flower.
