BraLTP1 fragment in PBI121s was introduced into Agrobacterium tumefaciens GV3101 by electroporation, and positive clones were selected on on LB agar plates at 37°C, supplemented with appropriate concentration of antibiotics (gentamicin 50 mg L−1, rifampicin 50 mg L−1 and kanamycin 50 mg L−1) and PCR verified. The construct was made by a genetic transformation, when overexpressed, it increased cell proliferation, which makes the EC: IGI

According to Figure 7, the BraLTP 1 overexpression causes cell proliferation which suggests that the standard state also is involved in cell proliferation

Notes have incorrect protein and organism not listed. Protein in paper: bra011229 Protein on Uniprot: Uncharacterized Uniprot Entry name: M4D425_BRARP Organism: Brassica rapa subsp. pekinensis (Chinese cabbage) (Brassica pekinensis)

Evidence Code: IDA, no mutant types were used to compare to wild type, overexpression of BraLTP1 promotes cell overproliferation in leaf.

Protein: AY208878 Notes: Figure 7A: BraLTP1 expressing lines of B. napus (BraLTP1-20 and BraLTP1-22) show significantly more weight per leaf unit area as compared to both wild type and null segregants, indicating increased cell proliferation. IMP.
