That figure shows the effect when the DnfA or DnfB are deleted. It is shown that only DnfA has a significant effect on the location of the SPK tip on the hyphae. Another thing that was not made super clear is that the DnfA and DnfB are flipases. Although it is a component I challenge that location of these flipases and the evidence used to support them. IDA and IMP would be more effective at explaining the location of the the enzymes. According to the paper it seems as if they localize to the same regions and have different effects on the hyphae tip. | 0 |
