Need figures to support claim. Figure 2: observed lower mRNA S100A9 and p53 expression levels in epicardial (S100A9 1.58 ± 0.09, p = 0.007 and p53 1.64 ± 0.05, p = 0.003) than subcutaneous adipocytes (S100A9 1.62 ± 0.10 and p53 1.67 ± 0.05, respectively), while they were increased in epicardial (S100A9 1.71 ± 0.09, p = 0.003 and p53 1.69 ± 0.05, p = 0.05) versus subcutaneous stromal cells.

Figure 3: graphs indicate statistical difference of gene expression between obese and non-obese patients.

Table 3: there was a positive association between BMI and blood triglyceride content (r = 0.283, p = 0.085). The size of these cells was related to FABP4 expression levels in epicardial and subcutaneous stromal cells.

Figure 5: Diagram representing the comparison of gene expression levels between stromal and adipocyte cells of epicardial or subcutaneous adipose tissue (EAT or SAT) from obese patients and their relationship with adipocytes size.
