Figure 2 shows the homology of a region of P. marinus with that of regions of light harvesting systems in other species. A region containing a sequence homologous to cpeA was cloned into E. coli and expressed. Figure 6B shows the detection of alpha-PE (a phycobilisome constituent), the predicted gene product. |
