Figure 5 and Figure 6 show that Non-structural protein NS2, or just NS2, is involved in viral genome replication. In the presence of the mutant, pIAMDV(-NS2), the aleutian mink disease parvovirus (strain G) (ADV or AMDV) is unable to replicate its genome within the host cell nucleus. In this experiment, they infected CrFK cells (Crandall feline kidney cell) with the aleutian mink disease parvovirus (AMDV-G) to determine the involvement of NS2 in viral genome replication. |
