I do not believe Figure 1 nor 6 provide ample evidence for the annotation. These are art renderings of the mechanism, but not experimentally proven through observation of a mutant phenotype. Figure 3 could be used to show association of LuxQ and LuxP via protein crystal structure and amino acid sequence analysis. This would require a differenct evidence code, such as Inferred From Physical Interaction.
