Public Assessment | AAJohnson | 2017-04-26 08:25:10 CDT | This is a transfer annotation of a protein to itself. The Uniprot ID for the protein being annotated is the same as the Uniprot ID for the "with" field. Instead, a transfer annotation should be established for a new annotation based on significant sequence similarity to a protein with an established, experimentally documented annotation. I'm guessing the established annotation should be for Salmonella phage episilon 15, and you should be posting this annotation on a page for K. pheumonia phage capsid...So, you should also clarify your notes, as I'm not sure of the direction of transfer between the Salmonella phage episilon 15 capsid protein and the K. pneumonia phage capsid protein. " This proves that there is a capsid protein " A sequence alignment doesn't 'prove' function. Go easy on using the word 'prove'. | Requires Changes ✗ Qualifier ✗ With/From ✗ Notes |
