As correctly said by E63, you cannot make a direct annotation on Evoli using the primary literature source you refer to because the experiments in this study were done on the Bacillus phage SF6. You could do a direct annotation to the SF6 gene, but if you do that you cannot use the GO term "DNA binding, bending", as CACAO students are nor allowed to use 'binding' terms. You could use one or multiple of the following terms: GO:0019068 virion assembly GO:0006323 DNA packaging GO:0044815 DNA packaging complex GO:0019073 viral DNA genome packaging GO:0098035 viral DNA genome packaging via site-specific sequence recognition As it says in the text, this study investigates the process of involvement of the HTH motifs in specific recognition of the viral genome for initiation of DNA packaging during virus assembly.

Finally, if you find homology between the gene in SF6 and the same gene in Evoli (which is probably how you got to this paper and made this annotation), then, you can make a transfer annotation using on of the ISS evidence codes. In the notes section you would ,then, mention that the Evoli gene is homologous (BLAST shows ...% identity) to the SF6 gene, for which it was experimentally confirmed to be part of the ... process (e.g. DNA packaging). And you would provide the PMID to the SF6 paper in there, too.

This should be a direct annotation on the Phage SF6 page and then transfer annotated to Phage Evoli.
