Challenge | Strandquistg, Team DirtyChubi | 2016-04-04 10:20:28 CDT | In order to use code ISO in a transfer annotation, the SEA phages "GO_REF:0000100" must be used as a reference. Do not use a paper for reference in a transfer annotation. In addition, the evidence code requires greater than 30% sequence identity and a coverage of at least 75% in a blastp alignment. | 2 |
Challenge | Odilia1, Team Green B | 2016-04-02 21:30:57 CDT | I would like to challenge the challenge. I beg to differ from your suggestion of IGC. I chose ISO over IGC because my transfer was from a characterized protein in the bacteria E coli (for which I've already done a regular annotation), to the phage TsarBomba and was based on protein blast hits from TsarBomba to an E coli phage. No form of genomic analysis was used as evidence for the function of the protein product in E coli, rather a direct assay was done. | 0 |
Challenge | Di46616, Team Red A | 2016-03-30 10:41:58 CDT | Evidence code should be IGC, inferred by genomic context, for a transfer annotation. | 0 |
