The figure shows that the ER morphology was barely detectable and formed mostly expanded cisternae. This matches more closely to the GO term used because it is the arrangement of constituent parts, or disassembly of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) cisternal network. The alternative GO term suggested (GO:0071784) is the aggregation, arrangement and bonding together of a set of components to form the endoplasmic reticulum cisternal network. This particular paper talks about the cisternae being expanded which is an arrangement of the constituent parts and doesn't talk about the bonding of components to make this network. | 0 |
