Figure 1 shows that Pseudomonas sp. strain P51 is able to grow on culture medium that contained 3 different chlorobenzenes, and it was able to degrade the chlorobenzenes. Figure 7 shows how the chlorobenzene concentrations decreased, and the corresponding catechol concentrations increased.
