Figure 2 is a graph showing a viable cell count biofilm assay comparing the biofilm formation and growth of Wild type P. mirabilis cells, mutant cells without pstA gene, and mutant cells without pstS gene. The pstA and pstS mutants have much less biofilm formation than the wild type, indicating that the Pst family genes are involved in biofilm formation. |
