Tables 1 and 2 show the results of inoculation with wild-type and DsrA mutant H. ducreyi. Table 1 shows that the mutant is impaired in its ability to cause papules. Table 2 shows that the mutant (at an increased dose) forms smaller papules than the wild-type, on par with the heat-inactivated wild-type. |
