Figure 5 B shows phosphorelay signal transduction system in C Crescentus from the kinase CC1181 to CC1182. The histidine kinase autophosphorylates. The phosphoryl group is then passed to the receiver domain of a cognate response regulator. Phosphorylation of the receiver domain typically activates the output domain. |
