We (Jim Hu & I) have had a long discussion about if the general disease state is suitable for annotating a phenotype, but the GO Consortium generally does not accept this. You have to submit the evidence for the mutation altering the biosynthesis, rather than albinism just being a side effect of the mutant proteins mis-function. | Unacceptable |
