Public Assessment | AAJohnson | 2017-05-06 06:42:03 CDT | Go term isn't showing up (might be wiki bug, not your problem?) http://amigo.geneontology.org/amigo/term/GO:0008745 = N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase activity The authors say this protein is an N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase, but how do you know from the data in the paper? Carefully evaluate whether the data supports this specific GO term (it might, but you haven't written it specifically enough), or perhaps something a bit more general. Alternatively, the authors evaluate their data and refer to conservation with Amidase_3 family. What do you know about that family related to the GO term you selected? If you can find it, you can pull in to your notes an external reference for something that says Amidase_3 is N-acetylmuramoyl-L-alanine amidase, for example. You haven't used the data supporting IMP as an evidence code so the code isn't appropriate. | Requires Changes ✗ Evidence ✗ Notes |
