Authors conclude that BF14 (ESA_00282) and BF15 (ESA_00281) are of unknown function, though they appear to affect to cell adhesion and biofilm architecture. Authors do not demonstrate that either protein must be part of the extracellular matrix.

Shows the phenotypic morphologys of the various mutants. In the wildtype, the biofilm morphology is seen on the periphery of the colony. This characteristic is absent in BF15, suggesting that the gene in this colony is required for biofilm formation

Figure 3 shows the complementation tests done with BF14 and BF15||complete
