This is the capsid protein in the bacteriophage 80alpha. In figure 3, D, it shows capsids being created with proteins starting at gp42 and ending at gp47 . This shows that this is the full capsid protein within the bacteriophage 80alpha. The protein goes on to describe how section D would not be possible if it did not contain gp47, leading to believe that this is the capsid protein. Basically if you put everything from gp42 to gp46 no capsid would form.
