The GO Term GO:0048260 -- positive regulation of receptor-mediated endocytosis - is correct for this entry. The correct Evidence Code is IMP: Inferred from Mutant Phenotype. Figures 1A and 1B show that LPS induced the rapid endocytosis of TLR4 in wild-type macrophages and dendritic cells, but in CD14 knockout cells, this response was not observed. This response was specific to TLR4, as Fc-gamma R1 receptor levels were not changed by LPS treatment. This shows that CD14 is required for the endocytosis of TLR4 in response to LPS.

GO:0038010 -- positive regulation of signal transduction by receptor internalization

because the internalization of TLR4 induces a number of different responses within the cell. When CD14 was absent, these processes (like IFN production) were lost or deficient.
