GO:0008284 Positive regulation of cell proliferation. Notes: Abstract suggests that stimulation of INSL3 significantly increased cell proliferation in other genes which migrate and cause significantly accelerated corneal wound healing in mice. Figure 3 shows that scratches on human epithelial cells cannot heal when cell migration inhibitors are activated. Figure 2 shows that as long as INSL3 is present, proliferation inhibitors have no effect on scratch closure, thus INSL3 increases cell proliferation.
