Challenge | Vchhabria, Team KremlinOnTheCrum | 2011-10-02 15:50:39 CDT | Additionally, I would suggest that this paper more likely corresponds to a few Go Terms: GO:0003724 RNA helices activity is supported in figure 3 This is from direct assay, same article GO:0032056 Regulation of translation in response to stress is supported because DNAk, a chaperone protein, is shown less expressed in Figure 6D than it is in Figure 6C. | 3 |
Challenge | Vchhabria, Team KremlinOnTheCrum | 2011-10-02 15:41:43 CDT | This entry is misleading. While this paper suggests that CsdA is involved in the cold shock stress response, one symptom of that is that a knockout mutant in this protein would lack a cold shock response and therefore grow less quickly or die at 96 hours. This entry relating a shock response to cell growth is misleading because it is too general and is taking a symptom of cold shock response out of context. Cells growing at normal temperatures do not need CsdA to grow. | 1 |
