The notes should include more detail. Specifically, that the amino acid sequence contained all the conserved domains required for NADPH oxidation. I would edit the note to the following.

Figure 1 compares the amino acid sequences of human and murine Renox proteins with that of an NADPH homolog and finds that Renox contains all the conserved domains considered required for NADPH oxidase activity including membrane spanning segments, an FAD binding site, and NADPH binding motifs.
