Add GO annotations to proteins based on Uniprot entries
--JimHu 23:56, 12 April 2008 (CDT) We've added the capability to add gene pages based on Uniprot IDs. See Help:GONUTS_gene_page_maker.
Updates
JimHu 18:15, 10 January 2008 (CST) Added a script to remove outdated pages for terms where the term name has been changed.
JimHu 23:50, 19 July 2007 (CDT) This news page hasn't been keeping up with GONUTS news. The current big news is migration to a new, much faster server. User accounts have been migrated and they should have the same passwords.

- After another round of debugging the import script, links to with/from fields should work, and references should be less redundant. These have been completed for
- SGD
- DictyBase
- TAIR
- WormBase
- FlyBase
- ZFin
- MGI

- We're reimporting all the genes to add the references to the GO annotations. I've modified Cite.php to reformat citations by getting reference information from PubMed.
- FlyBase done
- SGD done
- The Flybase genes had a problem where the page titles were out of phase with the page content. The reimport should fix the content, but the links will need to be rebuilt over the next couple of days. Some manual editing of the gene_associations.fb file was needed, so there may still be a (small, I hope) number of problems.

- The subcategory display seems to be fixed for now...I hope...
JimHu 14:15, 26 July 2006 (CDT)
- The GO wiki now has more gene associations added. We're not done!
- Some of the GO terms need repair due to a stupid programming error by me, but most should be OK. Please let us know if you find a problem.
- Started to fix a Mediawiki problem that prevented display of subcategories. The category page display still needs improvement.
GO camp 2006
JimHu 00:23, 16 July 2006 (CDT) GO camp 2006 just ended yesterday. Thanks to all the consortium members and attendees who took a look at the GO wiki and gave some great hints and encouragement. Things here are still very much beta, if that, but I hope people will try it out and sign their colleagues up for user accounts.
